Colts 2009 - 2010 Season

The biggest mistake the Colts made in the 2009-2010 Season was made by management. In week 15 Bill Polian decided to take the food from the Lions mouth in the middle of its meal. The team was rolling for perfection, the city and all the team fans all over the world, were hoping to witness something never done before 19-0. It was taken away that day. Peyton was defrauded as you could easily tell from his expression on the sidelines. He was frustrated and wanted back in the game. He was talking to the coaches but  had no luck. Because of a ultra conservative robotic approach by management.  The Saints won the SB because they had the guts to do so. That onside kick took guts. The Saints won the SB because they went for 19-0. Even though they did not achieve that they had the balls to try. Ultimately I believe the Colts expected to win the Super Bowl. While the Saints coaches and management had their team better prepared for war. As in "Ambush" that's the name of the on side kick at the start of the 3rd quarter. My self a Colts lifetime fan offer congratulations to the Saints organization.  As far as my Colts, Bill Polian draft some balls to replace yours this season.

Colts 2009 - 2010 Season

I agree with you about Bob Sanders. He has talent, but that talent warms the bench year after year for most of the season. The Colts should attempt to trade him. If there are no takers then he should be released. Also cut Vinatieri he's a shell of himself and gets paid alot of money, stick with Stover. We need a stud left tackle, that's easier said than done. But the team really needs this. What we have is inadequate.

Colts 2009 - 2010 Season

I dont think the Colts season was a complete wash.....but them not winning the Superbowl was just as ridiculous as Peyton Manning coughing up the game and leaving it in Drew Brees's hands to take New Orleans to the promise land.... I wish things were diffrent but I dont think I will be seeing another Colts super bowl victory in my life time. I like the fact that they made a great move keeping Brackett this off season, but I hope to god that they dont keep Sanders... Melvin should have secured his position and should be the starter in that position..Lets just hope that they make it back to a Superbowl and dont end with that being the last fight for a championship...
