A top-10 recruit is back on the board.
Rodney Purvis, who had pledged to Louisville back in December, announced he has decommitted from the Cardinals.

"I just want to develop relationships with the new staff," Purvis told CBSSports.com.
The news comes on the heels of former Louisville assistant Tim Fuller leaving to join Frank Haith at Missouri. Fuller ran point on Purvis' recruitment to Louisville.
Purvis said Rick Pitino and the Cardinals are still in the mix, though.

"Yes definitely," he said.
Purvis is a 6-foot-4 combo guard from Upper Room Christian Academy (N.C.) and is one of the best guards in the class of 2012.

Louisville loses top-10 recruit

Lets keep it real, unless you're like a DUKE, STANFORD or an IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL, the college you support probably isn't all the prestigous when it comes to academics, but thats not to say they are inferior schools by any means. If anything, I would rather focus on the character of the players that are recruited, I look at UCONN, smoking/dealing weed, Michigan State, alledged rape from two freshman. OSU had Weatherspoon this year that flunked out or something, I mean, let's face it, ALL OF OUR TEAMS HAVE DIRT!!!

Anyways, so what other schools is Rodney looking at?? OSU maybe????

Youre proud of your players academic achievments?? Having the worst GPA of all 20 KY sports programs?? Proud of that?? Proud of a 2.025 GPA for the team??

Keep it coming trojones, maybe type without the blindfold.

You want me to post player transcripts that show kids with 1.6 GPAs that played the whole season and then just turned pro??

I personally could care less what Cal does, its a style that doesnt win so have fun being good but just never good enough to win it all.

Is this proof enough you bone head???????????

Read that and enlighten yourself. Cal plays against the rules. His kids are half retarded but since they plan on going pro their GPA basically never matters. Its a loop hole for retards that Calipari exploits.

How many times do accusations have to be made before a Kentucky fan just admits the players are getting paid and Calipari is a scammer??

Of course Ky fans are just going to say "nothing was proven and Cal did nothing wrong."

Tkae the blindfold off. Kanter piad for his own car because he received money from his Turkish league. I bet Cal didnt know that while he was recruiting him.

Cal has a huge rug and a hefty broom...

cuseyourself.....Do you have any FACTS to support that statement? Of course not. Cuse doesn't mention academics for good reason. Kentucky does because we're proud of our players academic achivements.

Enes Kanter's father is a doctor in his native Turkey....and a very successful one. There are a lot of fathers who buy cars for their children.

And where is this BIg East coach? Where are his facts? More heresay and rumors from an underachieving school from the Big Least.

Until you can actually PRODUCE some facts, try focusing on YOUR team. Not slamming another, no matter who it may be, because of their success.

This coming from a UNC fan????????????   LOL  Bring it on. Nobody is lower than UNC.  BTW how'd you like that Elite 8 game?
Just for the record what ever happened to Frank McGuire and who was Lou Brown?  You people think you're so clean.  Ha!  But the fact you continue to bash Cal for things he obviously had nothing to do with proves everything anyone needs to know about UNC fans.  Cry baby cry.  The more you cry the more I like it.

Holy Toledo the UK hate just never quits.  The green eyed monster devours so many.  Get over it.  Your school is NOT Kentucky and you never will be.  I'll bet not one of you knows that UCLA actually cheated beyond belief when they had their run of titles.  But Cal goes to high schools and helps kids cheat on tests, gets the NCAA to give their okey dokey for the player to play (except Enes Kanter of course) then deliberately stabs himself in the back by revealing that his player talked to an agent breaking NCAA rules.  Wonder why Tressel never did that?

Yes UK insanity is contagious beyond belief.  Cheer up.  UK has only started cranking up the program.  Cal almost won with 6 players (sometimes 7) this past year.  Imagine what he will do with the next class.  And cry all night about it.  Go ahead.  I'll feel better if you cry.  Go ahead.  Really.  I love hearing it.  Go ahead crybabies.  It's just sooooooooooooooooo funny!  Remember.  Your team will NEVER equal what UK has already done not to mention what they will do.  Cry.  Get it all out.  And be sure and post it all here!
