Yet another head coach is done before the end of the season.

Mount St. Mary’s announced on Wednesday they have placed head coach Robert Burke on administrative leave. Burke requested the leave after talking to university officials earlier in the week, according to a release.

“Decisions like this are never easy and certainly more difficult while our season is in progress,” Director of Athletics Lynne Robinson said.

Assistant coach Matt Henry will be named acting head coach. Henry has been with the Mountaineers for two seasons, after spending six years at Georgetown.

Mount St. Mary’s is 6-19 this season. Burke was 17-40 in the past two seasons since being named head coach in May 2010.
