Merry Christmas to all of you all!  Been awhile... to those who are traveling, hope you had more luck than me.  Flew to Cleveland a couple weeks back from our 11 inch blizzard and last week drove into eastern Wisconsin during THEIR blizzard... (though in two weeks will be flying to sunny naples/key west which will be a NICE change of pace for travel).


Hope everyone is healthy, happy, employed, with new pets those who lost loved ones, and mostly staying out of trouble.  We are mostly, definitely, too much so, already have our pets and no none of us are staying out of trouble.  About to lose one to overseas for a while; weird hearing that after the whole bringing everyone back thing; but hopefully it will go fast, she'll be safe and she'll be home before we know it.  

To those of you Green Bay fans, the fact this game means anything blows my mind.  I know you will probably win, but wow it's nice having it actually be relevant. Last year I'd never have thought it (but either let us win it or let AP get his record, k?)

And for my gift to you, if you want to laugh... these things have kept us entertained most of the last day.  A couple of them till we cried, actually.   Some are well, a little less than g rated since the auto correct content was pretty uh off (if you look at links to some of the other ones; the best of are on the right and you can click by month; August and March especially I appreciated besides the 50 and 25 for hte year), but they are truly  hilarious.  Enjoy  and again, Merry Christmas and go Vikes :)

hey the lava... things are crazy busy but good (even though I have been habiting the broom closet on the first floor in papa's league); hope things are great for you as well

I have been in  many places, but I've never been in Cahoots.  Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.  I have, however, been in Sane.  They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there.  I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family, and w$$k.  I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to  jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.  I have also been in Doubt.  That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.  I've  been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.  Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older. One of my  favorite places to be is in Suspense!  It really gets the adrenalin flowing and  pumps up the old heart!  At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!  I may have  been in Continent, but I don't remember what country I was in.  It's an age thing.  They tell me it is very wet and damp there.

I once had a GF who was thrilled when she learned that a new perk allowed to me by my new job-position with The City was-- 2 free tickets to any & all performances held at the city's auditorium.
Within a day or two, she also learned that a famous troup of dancers was soon due to appear at that local venue.  She urged me to procure a pair of tickets ASAP.
She told me it would be a ballet and, though I was not required to ask for acoupla passes (coulda gotten one) --- she wanted me to join her.
I thought...hmmm...do I know what a ballet is?...a mid-week ballet, too...I'll still have to arise at 4:00 AM...scrape the windshield and lope to my place of labor...& do a day's worth of that labor, too...ah...she's worth it.  Then, I concluded that thought with this (tragic) logic ...it might be fun!
"Yeah", I said, "I'll take you, Darlin'".
Uh.  Oh.  The trap was set.  There was no escape.
Even if the event proved to be, pure utter torturiousnessage...I had to--under any circumstances--stay, in my seat, until its bitter conclusion...for.. I was the Driver.  She was the Drivee (AKA rider).  Gaaaaaa!

Good thing that I've never worn a watch...had I been wearing one that night, I'da worn-out my wrist, shirt sleeve 'n my eye balls from lookin' at it!  But

I made it through my first and last ballet show.  Yeah, "show".
GF went to see many, many more...each time sitting in a more choice spot... and we stayed together for several more years.  Though a bit shallow, she was a Sweetheart...& was quite facinated by (even made a study of!) those bulges of the male dancers.  Yup.
Hey.  That's understandable...I would've done the same.  Mebbe.
