I believe differently, Bear. He hates football if he lets the Ratbirds win. No humor in that. 
Well some people may dislike Dierdorf, but I've always thought he has pretty dang good football sense/IQ. He couldn't BELIEVE it when Denver didn't throw to try to get a 1st down with time running down and Browns with no TO's. And he couldn't BELIEVE they didn't try to get into FG positon with 30+ sec left and 2 TO's left.
Seems like the Donkos weren't really trying to win with "all of their fabric" ... IYKWIM.
