Koy, did you see that Texas Music Magazine named Amanda Shires their 2011 Artist Of The Year?

I am unfamiliar with that pub Rock, and hello by the way, but those are some smart dudes!  It wasn't a slow decision, I'll bet, either.  Amanda has some beautiful tunes on this CD, thanks for the recommendation.

I can't remember if it was this thread, but somewhere someone mentioned that JOAN had had the one hit, ONE OF US, and disappeared. She's a Louisville girl who still lives here and has been very prominant in the local music scene helping new musicians and doing some producing. This is from her newest release and is probably best known for the Rolling Stones version from EXILE ON MAIN STREET and is originally a SLIM HARPO song.

Nice to hear you guys hit your goal-I'm pushing priduct out the door trying to hit mine! I was at about 92% going into the last day of the month, and I have more than enough to hit it-it's a question of if they an prodcue it in time to ship it today. My sales manager said she's not worried, she knows I'm kickin' ass! But I want more money!!!!!!

Things are good here-taking my son to his first Laker game tonight-can't wait! His brithday is next week, so I got him a Laker warm-up shirt to wear to the game. Gonna be a really cool Daddy and son night!!!
