Boise inks deal with UT Martin in 2013

I believe I said take em right?

Since Boise joined D-1, they are 10-10 vs AQ Football teams. That's Kansas Numbers my friend. You want to Count your games vs TCU in that tally?  Go right ahead. Boise is 2-2 vs TCU, so that doesn't change a thing.  12-12? Okay, great. Heck throw in your bigtime 1-0 vs Utah if you like.  Your right there neck and neck with Kentucky & Illinois.

Actually I count Boise 17-17 against those teams since Boise joined D1a. What's that? Over half of them were ranked opponents for Boise. Hmmm.    And what's that? Only 30% were at home for Boise? Hmmm.

Were over half of your precious KY or Ill vs ranked opponents? Were only 30% of their games at home?  Of course not. Not even close. But do keep twisting.

And you and I both know that most of those Boise losses came in their 1st five years of D1a when Boise was the new paid cupcake and nearly all on the road. Not so, anymore.

So you're still double talking and it still doesn't hold water.

Hell, there's about a dozen more NONAQs that have a .500 or better record vs your precious AQs when you take away your precious AQ's home advantage. Not so tough then, are they.

Now its the first Five years need to be discounted due to growing pains.

How about this year?  What happens this year genius?

Are you actually claiming Boise to have a Huge Home Field Advantage in a 37k Stadium? Maybe to UC Davis my friend but that's called a Practice Field in Norman.

The University of Oklahoma has a better Winning % in STILLWATER ( and yes it is UGLY) than they do Norman against our own in-state rivals.

Neither OU nor Texas has played each other on their Home Fields in oer 60 years.

DO you think OU is afraid to go beat the crap out of K-State in Manhattan? Really? Do you really believe OU is afraid to play Boise in Boise but will gladly Travel to Tuscaloosa Alabama, Tallahassee Fl, and South Bend Indiana?

I think you have an over inflated view of "Home Field" and I also believe the reason is Obvious.

Someday, someday you will develop an intelligence. A 2/1 is not the same thing as a 1&done and H&H. Read the contract.

You better hurry up and call Mich st and let them know. They must have misread the contract becaue they are treating the series EXACTLY like a 1&done and a H&H. Boise's $1M asking price for a 1&done, and a normal exchange of travel expenses for a normal H&H.

Oh, wait. They wrote the contract. Hmmm. Imagine that.

And the Boise ADs, no matter who they are, have all shared the same old rigamarole for their scheduling practices.

Well the new AD did come directly from the sec. Wink  Wink

Schedule one real team that is beatable, then 11 cupcakes. Nothing has changed even though the ADs names change.

Since they are all beatable on any given Saturday, I guess that means anyone.

Also, you never have told me all those teams that are willing to play Boise, so they can schedule 3-4 of them each year. What gives? Can't you share them? Are you sworn to secrecy? No sense in keeping them to yourself. I'd certainly pass them along for you.

You mean will Boise have a better record than your OU did in '09? Is that what you're getting at, school boy? Or maybe you think OU has the corner market on losing 5 in one season?

Or did you mean for OU? Will they be preseason overated like they are in most seasons? Probably, since OU is the MOST overated program in the country from the precious self annointed AQ conferences. NOT one of the most overated, THE MOST OVERATED.

Neither OU nor Texas has played each other on their Home Fields in oer 60 years.

That's nice.  More tea in China?   I know there isn't a single AQ that consistently has a winning record at a ranked opponent's venue, like the NONAQS are consistently forced to do if they want to compete.

Are you actually claiming Boise to have a Huge Home Field Advantage in a 37k Stadium? Maybe to UC Davis my friend but that's called a Practice Field in Norman.

Man, what a piece of work. I never said anything even remotely close to what your flapping about.

What I said was that your precious AQs that you keep flapping about aren't so precious when they suddenly lose that 3-6 pt home advantage. And you come back with how long 2 of the 65 AQs have enjoyed playing at a neutral site? WOW.

I think you have an over inflated view of "Home Field" and I also believe the reason is Obvious.

Intresting that all the stats show home field advantage as being highly significant. I also highly doubt that you have ever been around a program that didn't play the majority of their games in their home, or you would know better..

I think that- what you think and what is, don't share many similar traits

What a fun bit of reading this morning.  An Oklahoma fan slamming Boise for being overrated.  A Clemson fan discussing how few national championships Boise has.  Hint, they have more in football than Clemson does.  And Sooner Shel calling anyone an idiot.  Now that's funny.

Keep em coming, my friends, heck Spinny alone is worth a full page of dialog, gotta love that guy.  Now all we need is another 2 pager from Bama Time.  See you all later this week.

Clemson has more D-1 National Championships than Boise. Clemson 1980, Boise none. Boise has a JUCO NC and a 1AA NC. Now if you want to bang on him about the West Va game thats different.

If you can get tickets.  You'll probably have to fork out on the secondary market.  but hey, go for it.

I'd love to meet you, Spinny, but as angry and crazy as you seem to get around here, one can never be certain.  To me, this post is a great place to talk sports, trade a little smack, and cheer for my team.  I've always been fascinated why someone who claims to be an OU fan and former football player has become so fascinated and passionate about criticizing a team that he claims to be so unimportant.  But sometimes it seems like you take things way over the top.

Come to Boise, I'll certainly let you know where I tailgate.  Who knows, you might be surprised by what you see.

Whoa there.  I need a little clarification on this one, smiles.  I mean pretty much all of us are "former football players" whether it be Pop Warner, high school, NAIA, etc.  Now I know that Spinkiller is a self-proclaimed ultra successful businessman who makes a great deal of money and even owns a boat.Wink

But I must have missed "former football player" even after reading pretty much all of his bullcrap posts.  Is Spinkiller claiming to be a former college football player?  And if so has he claimed to be a former Oklahoma Sooner football player?!  Oh please tell me the answer to those two questions are "yes" and "yes."

Seriously? OU has done more in their little pinky than Boise has in their history and you're talking about some crap of BYU or San Diego St, etc? That kind of thinking , my friend, is why Boise doesn't have the nations respect and probabably never will. Beat San Diego St and OU hasn't?  Be proud Boise, be proud!!!   Wink

Wow.  You can't really be that stupid, right BAMATEE?  Well, actually....

He's simply playing the same mindless, childish, little game that Spinkiller plays to prove to everyone just how stupid and pointless it is to compare teams' head to head records against past opponents from over the years, sometimes dating back to 20, 30, or even 50 plus years ago.  He plays that game with Boise all the time.

If it's too confusing for your little mind to figure out then I'll keep it simple for you.  Just read the final sentence of his post that you yourself placed into quotations prior to sending your response.

Dumb stats. What's your point?

Get it?

Boise State has never lost to Oregon. Oklahoma can't say the same.

Truth be told, yes we can.  Foot in mouth

Let me start by saying that the Boise fan who stated this was not trying to throw it in OU's face (I think it was Gr84play).  He was trying to show how comparing teams' head to head records against each other over the last century or so like Spinkiller does is pretty much meaningless and doesn't really hold a lot of water.

But I want to ask you wardogharry because as an OU fan you would know better than me.  Has OU played Oregon outside of the 2006 game in Autzen?  And even if that was their only match up over the years OU lost that game.  I watched the entire thing and there was some very poor officiating that impacted both teams in that contest.  The icing on the cake though was that botched call on the onside kick, but still every team suffers though those kinds of things at some point.  OU lost that game.  Are you denying like Spinkiller still does to this day that Oregon did not beat OU?

So, the 1985 World Series had a Corrupt Replay Booth that Made a Safe Call at 1st Base after reviewing it for 15 Mins after clearly seeing otherwise?

I guess I missed that.

Get over it, Spinkiller.  Oregon beat OU on that day no matter how badly you refuse to accept it.  It was a bad call on a crucial play, but bad calls happen all the time, even in some cases when the play is reviewed in the booth.

Hey, as painful as it is for me to say this, I've watched Kyle Brotzman's 26 yard field goal attempt with 2 seconds left in Reno time after time.  I know Nevada uses short goal posts, but I swear that kick went in when you watch the replay.  I thought he sqeezed it just inside of those goalposts.  But you know what?  At the end of the day Boise lost that game.  They lost it to the 13th ranked team on the road.  Nevada kicked out butts in that second half while our guys threw it into cruise control after dominating the first half.  We choked plain and simple.  They wanted it more and they earned every bit of that win.......whether I thought the kick was good or not is irrelevant.  Our kids lost the game.  When the final gun sounded the scoreboard read Nevada 34, Boise 31.

Not only is it Yes and Yes little wonderboy, but it gets better.

I do love the "amazement" however.  It is a true reflection of yourself.

You Idaho boys really need to get out more. Maybe that will help you understand life a little better. Perhaps you should start concentrating on accomplishing something yourself instead of being wowed by everyone else's accomplishments?

Wrong. It wasn't a "Bad Call". It was a SERIES of Corrupted calls and people were fired and banned for them.  A Big XII Pac 10 series was cancelled.

Bad Calls are Mistakes made, these weren't mistakes, they were obvious, purposeful, need driven corruption of a college football game.

Try as you may to draw parallels to other games (there aren't any), myself, other players, boosters and OU will not acknowledge anything but an asterisks for that game and OU remains 11-0 vs. Oregon.
