Too funny coming from a fan of a team that only makes it big bowl games because of the size of it's fan base.

Too funny coming from a fan of a conference that plays the same strngth of schedule as Boise.

The reason they whine and cry for respect, its because they don't play and body to get ant respect.

Uh, shel? Maybe you should look at actual schedule strengths before responding. Especially, to a guy whose top conference teams play the same schedule strength as Boise.

The more you post, the more your doofus comes out.

Someday i haven't looked at the SOS and after looking at Boise schedule i don't think i need to. Boise isn't playing any ranked teams. On the other hand when you look at OU's schedule they are playing 5 ranked teams. Anybody that has half a brain would know that OU SOS i stronger the Boise st. You DOOFUS.

And did the tosu fan that you responded to say anything about OU, shel? Did I say anything about OU, shel?

Stay on topic, shel.

Of couse you haven't looked it up, as there is nothing to look up for the coming season.  It hasn't happened yet. But yet here you are bagging on a schedule that hasn't even happened. None of us know who will flop and who will be ranked, but, yet, here you are.

Apparently, though, you also haven't looked it up for a couple years, either, or you would know that the top B1G division and conference champs have been playing the same 12 game strength of schedule and the same amount of ranked opponents in those 12 game schedules as Boise for a couple years. Wis finished their last 12 game schedule ranked in the 60s by the bcs, as did Boise. And Mich st in the high 50s. The year before, all three(along with our little tosu fan's team) played the same 12 game schedule strength, as well.

Are you going to those B1G boards and posting your crap, shel?

Why not, shel?

If you aren't going to take the time to actually find the stats, how can you think yourself knowledgable enough
to comment either way?

How can you come anywhere close to defending yourself on this issue without having the stats to back up your opinion, shel?

Of Boise State fans that think because they beat Oregon in 2009 that they should be ranked higher than Oregon in 2010, 2011......

Suck it up Buttercup.  That was 3 years ago.  No one cares what you did 3 years ago.  What have you done lately?

Not sure if you are being serious or not.  I think Boise has a good program, but you compromise your credibility in suggesting that their SOS is on par with any of the BCS schools.

Well what about end of year stastistics... According to the end of the year SOS Boise State averages above the top 50 in SOS considering who we play and all we do quite well in comparison so your statement is shaky in perspective wait till the end of the season and well talk about SOS...

The date on that link, if I recall, was January 10, 2012.

Regardless, you dont need a link or someone else to rate the schedules.  Simply look at them.  Between 9/17 and 10/29 of last year, MSU played Notre Dame, Ohio State, Nebraska and Michigan which represent 4 of the 5 winningest programs in CFB history. During that sime time span, they played Wisconsin as well.

I dont understand how my prior post could have been 'shaky', all i did was provide a link that demonstrates what you were purporting was not accurate.  I'm not offerring opinions here, these are just facts.

First of all, the link you quoted was a simple google with hundreds of links to choose from.

Second, I don't know which of them you clicked on, but it reall doesn't matter. The only ones that matter are the ones that the bcs uses to actually rank teams. That's the system we are all bound to use.

Third, if one wants to compare actual schedules, then one would look at each schedule strength at the end of each program's 12 game schedule, not after bowls were handed out on a platter to the most popular programs , nor after CCGs.

That said, you might be interested in knowing that after 11 out of their respective 12 games, the bcs average computer sos rankings for each team listed Mich st's ave. sos ranked at 57.2 in the nation and Boise's ave computer sos ranked at 52.8 in the nation. Mich st's bcs sos ranking didn't pass Boise's 'till each's very last 12th game. In other words, Boise had a better schedule for the previous 92% of the season.

If you don't like that, take it up with the bcs, that we all are forced to play in. It's their figures.

And neither Notre Dame, nor tOSU finished the season in the top 40. They have nice names, though.

Comments like this are the precise reason why some BSU fans draw so much heat. You have to understand when you're talking to Notre Dame and tOSU fans, you're talking to people whos fathers and grandfathers and greatgrandfathers were a part of a great tradition and passed this down through the generations. So what they weren't top 40 last year. When you talk to them condescendingly, you're not just insulting their favorite football team. In some fan's cases, you're insulting an entire family's tradition. You should just expect there's going to be a lot of emotional reaction when you take cuts at people's family traditions.

If BSU fans would learn to show more respect to fans of traditionally great programs, I'm quite sure they'd receive much more respect in return.

You know someone has a pretty warped perspective when in their mind the "legend" they left behind them was a thread. If this thread really means that much to you, cranialobe, you need to get therapy.

And btw, when creating threads becomes your life mission, this country is in the pisser. I dont get what it is with you guys, but thread "age", thread "numbers", thread "statistics" really seem to be a lot more important to BSU fans than to normal people.

"Hey my thread is 4 years long. My thread has 400 pages."  LOL LOL LOL LOL.

To which I say: REALLY? THATS YOUR 'LIFE LEGEND'?
