I read Walter's take on Burfict, believe he may not even get drafted

Remember when Vontaze Burfict was a top-15
prospect? He could go undrafted. That's how bad his Combine was.

It all
started when Burfict blamed others for his struggles this past season during
Sunday's press conference. When asked about his terrible 2011 campaign, Burfict
called out his coaches for not putting him in a better position. Burfict would
later reportedly bomb during the team interviews.

It got even worse when
he hit the field. Burfict ran 4.93 and 5.10 in his two 40 attempts with an awful
10-yard split of 1.70. He simply looked like he was out of shape. His broad jump
(8-8) and vertical leap (30 inches) also indicated that he has no burst.


I'm not done. Burfict had some of the shortest arms of any linebacker in
Indianapolis (31 1/4). You'd think this would help his bench press, but he
elected not to participate in the weight room.

Again, Burfict could go
undrafted. It's amazing how far he's fallen in six months.

Today Steelersdepot suggested trading a 1st, 2nd, and 4th/5th and get DeCastro and then draft Ta'amu in the 3rd. No no and no to that.

Ok you guys are missing my point, everything you are saying i agree with to an extent, i acknowldege, i understand, comprende? what im saying again is : IF ozzie and decosta sign off on him and they pick him, ill be convinced that there is something there, because having watched several of his games i think he is very talented, his potential is high, whether or not he meets that is to be seen, whether he is even drafted, remains to be seen. i wont push to put him on the board as im fairly sure many of them (gm's) will remove him off their boards- and rightly so, all im saying at the end of the day is, on a purely talent level, he caught my eye.
