I know I've mentioned Mrs. Randy's health issues(diagnosed with Crohn's) on here before, so I wanted to post an update.

After undergoing still more tests yesterday, the GI doctor at Mayo Clinic told us that the inflammation in her small intestines was was greatly reduced.  He canceled the surgery he had scheduled and is weaning her off the steroids.  Needless to say, she was very happy.

Thats great news Rock!  Mayo is a great place! Been there myself and they are the reason I'm still here!

It's kinda empty in here this morning.  I'll be out for a while proctoring exams.  In addition, I have some big news:  This week will be my final week in this school.  I have accepted a job as Assistant Principal at a public school in Manhattan.  I start next Thursday, but I will be out of my building Mon-Wed scoring exams.  I have no idea what my actual day-to-day responsibilities will be or how much computer/office time I will have.  So, if I don't pop in as often, or at all during the week, that's why.

Funny, I thought that too, when I first picked up the album, couldn't wait to hear her version of a greeat song!  But, alas, this "Split Decision" is written by Bonnie's bandmate, guitarist Al Anderson.  The good news is it is a very good song, and Bonnie's whole album is strong.

Congrats on that new job jonny...Vice Principle?  Isn't he the guy that swings the paddle, lol?  He was in my day....
