See Catfish, our friends are here, yay for Magill and Chief and am sure Phoggy will pop in and maybe Rok and Yam and others.  I know they all post on several threads while you and I stick to one or two...there is one called the Thread IV or something that I posted on but like all threads with tons of folks, they go so fast and then when I go back 4 pages are full and I don't have time to read all that.  Good people though, just have to budget my time.

My thoughts with you on your Mom as well, on my vacation we went to Iowa first and I visited my grandparents graves, very emotional for me.  I think I will just go with cremation and ask my kids and wife if she is still alive to take a trip and spread my ashes on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean...now if reincarnation is real, that will be interesting, I would likely come back as a hermit crab, but I don't believe that myself.

Good to hear from Chief and Magill.  Chief, at least the Royals aren't in last place this year, so far.  I personally like the girls...hahahaha, have a great "Monday" all.

Yeah hawkeye its good theyre not in last but that SP is just flat out terrible. With the starters unable to go 5 plus they are taxing that bullpen. Sadly they might find there way in the basement at some point unless the twinkies keep sucking.

It appears that Cat and I have a baseball team that is opening the 2012 season now but I'm staying mum till I se more results of this new found winning. I still ain't overly thrilled with winning 3,4, or 5 in a row and then duplicating that in losses.

What did happen to bad? Anybody?

yam--bad has been MIA for months now. we don't know what happened to him. i suspect it's not good.

hawk- i only post on 2 threads now. this one and a hockey one with local philly guys. that's it. that other thread was too much for me.

so when days go by and i don't see the usual suspects on here, i get sad.

yam - phils are still in trouble and doc could be gone with a shoulder injury.

Cat...they won't know for a while if they are buyers or sellers come August but either way they have/had a great run and will either tinker or rebuild. I rode the straight NL East titles the palyoff runs and the QWorld Series trips and win. I'll ride out what's about to happen. I remeber long and horrible periods smore than most so I'll ride the next period of quality whenever it comes and I'm not assuming it's over yet either.

Saw on a report, do not know if it is true, that Doc is out til maybe August.  That will hurt a team with so many injuries already. 

ha, now I see a story on the front page that it is 6-8 weeks...still ouch but not as long as August

That's the news coming out of Philly. On top of everything else it's a bad break but they are in "stay in the hunt mode " anyway If he returns when they are saying it still gives then 2 to 2 1/2 months to make a run. After the Giants and Cards the last couple of years,  I'm in the camp that thinks you just need to be in the neighborhood and then get hot.
