Chris Bosh needs to start and play better.

Spoelstra might think its still unfair to Bosh to start him.

i thought we would split in OKC in games 1 and 2.. although i really did think we were going to win game 1.   we honestly should have, but choked it away

What do you expect when your coach defaults to a 6 man rotation and runs his stars into the ground.

Lebron and Wade need to drive, screw the jumpshots, especially wade and his 3 pointers.

Sometimes a player settling for jumpshots is a sign of fatigue, Spoelstra needs to get his rotations together.

i do believe miami is better than OKC.

So this might be the 2nd year you lose the Finals to a team most Heat fans thought wasnt as good as the Heat.

i just wish we had a coach that could bench him when he shoots it.   it's a bad shot, and hurts the team.

No blaming coaches is allowed in here. Let Wade keep shooting until his heart is content! Its your team Wade dont let Lebron hog the spotlight! Your the 2006 Finals MVP! LOL!

I read this morning that James Jones was scratched at game time (Game 1) because of migraines.

" Sometimes a player settling for jumpshots is a sign of fatigue, Spoelstra needs to get his rotations together. "

James attacked alot. He can't attack ever time.

It appears that Wade just can't attack at all.  Hopefully they shoot him up with something tonight.      Let Wade keep shooting until his heart is content! Its your team Wade dont let Lebron hog the spotlight! Your the 2006 Finals MVP! LOL!

i do think the Thunder are closer to the heat than the mavs were last year.   in fact, if this team was 4 years old among it's starters, i think they may be better.    Serge Ibaka is the best player on the floor not a member of any 'big 3'.   he is the defensive presence the heat wished they had.   this makes the thunder a scary team for the heat in my opinion.   i still take miami because miami is in it's prime and the thunder are still very young.   durant's defense will be much better 4 years from now than it is today.

lebron needs to be moved to durant.   spoles trying to avoid that in game 1 was flat out stupid.  i get switches and screens happen.  but the focus of defense should be durant, and our best defender should be on him.  not hard to figure out.

it's amazing to me how quickly people are selling wade down the river.   i will be the first to admit he is not playing well.  but this amnesting him and trading him is stupid talk.   wade dropped 40+ in game 6 vs the Pacers.  He is just missing right now.   He needs to focus on driving, getting better shots, and stop stareing down referees after every missed contested layup.

honest question to turnup and everyone else in here.   Let's say this series goes the distance.  It's game 7.   Wade and Lebron have the exact same stat line in game 7.. both have hit their last 6 shots.

Heat down 1.. 15 seconds on the clock.  Who do you want the play ran too?   Wade or Lebron.   And dont dodge the question with saying the 'open man.'   We all know what I am asking here.   Finals on the line.. one shot to be champions or runners up.  Who do you want with the ball in his hands, Wade or Lebron?

I take Wade at that moment.

What should be real scary is that the Thunder did well down the stretch with him on the bench.
I hate when people say this.  Not to single you out, just something that I saw you put and I just want to vent on.  I've been hearing a lot the past couple of days that "OMG the Heat should be so scared because neither James Harden nor Serge Ibaka really had terrific games."  You do understand that you can only put five people on the floor, right?  Derek Fisher was hot (and has been for awhile) so he gets minutes, Thabo Sefalosha is their best perimeter defender so he has to play, of course Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant will get their minutes and Ibaka won't get too many minutes over Kendrick Perkins because they need Perkins for Chris Bosh (which just goes to show, by the way, what a joke defensive awards are; because technically, if you go by that, Ibaka was better than Perkins - and that's something we all know is not the case).

Sure those guys weren't "great" but it's not like there's a ton of minutes to give out to these guys where you can have like sevne or eight players play great games.

Also, by the way, that's such a terrific problem for the Thunder to have; to have that many options and looks to throw at the Heat.

I'm not hating on Los Angeles at all!  I'm still all about some Chris Paul (most of the time) and I actually pulled for the Lakers to beat the Thunder.  And if the Chargers were to ever move there (I prefer them to stay in San Diego), I'd become a Los Angeles fan so it is what it is.

not into hockey.   but congrats on your team winning the title.

i drink rum and cokes.  i will have one on you tonight.  im not giving up on miami because of a game 1 loss.   (Spoiler Alert) I also wont be giving up them if the lose tonight either.

Heat in 7... only thing that could happen to change my mind tonight would be injuries/suspensions.   Any chance we can get Durant to fight pittman?

By the way, I'm not a Saints fan (I do kind of adopt them as a second team of sorts) but I have no idea what the hell the hold up is with the Saints and Drew Brees.  I know he's asking for a real steep price but it's arguable that nobody means more to their organization than Brees and the Saints really are taking for the granted the idea that "oh, well, he'll be there regardless."  I don't know that to be the case.  Brees orginally went to the Saints because they offered him the most guaranteed money (you can look it up and it's a point that I always want to bring up everytime someone annoyingly states that the Chargers just threw Brees to the gutter after his injury) so they're gonna have to pony up to keep him.

But especially with all that's going on, the idea that they wouldn't pay him is confusing.  Then again, it's not my money.

Well I'm from the area (a town called Ponchatoula to be exact) but I live in San Antonio now.  The city's had much better luck with sports since I left but, in my time, the only local team was the Saints.  I just never really fell in love with them like everyone else so that's why I cheer for the Chargers (and because Junior Seau was my favorite player as a child; a big reason why I became a Charlotte Hornets fan because Muggsy Bogues was my favorite player).  So I just stuck with my teams and the fact that I've bounced around a lot has helped me because my teams are all wide open too.

I don't know what the big backlash is against San Antonio.  I think it's a terrific city.  Then again, I'm from New Orleans so I kind of like the big city with a small city feel (New Orleans, by the way, is my favorite place on Earth.  I want to settle down there once I finish with school and all that).  I know there are some big women here (and I love making that joke too) but it's a beautiful city with a lot of beautiful women.  It's not a real party town (except for a few occasions) but it's got a lot going on for it.

Yeah my dad always lived here and he took me to a a couple Spurs game at Hemisfair before it closed.  I loved it down there and it's still crazy to go down to Hemisfair park now and see that there's nothing there; where an arena once was.  I liked going to games at the Hemisfair Arena and the Alamodome much better than I do going to the AT&T Center.  The AT&T Center is OK but it's in a random ass part of town and there's nothing to do around the area unless you want to deal with the city's eastside or look at beautiful.... industrial San Antonio?  Then again, even I know the Alamodome was just not a basketball arena so they had to move.  But I enjoyed the games there and in Hemisfair much more.

Well you have to take into account that a lot of them are probably just drunk tourits.  I haven't officially checked any numbers as of late, but I know the population was only about 450,000 before Katrina and it's only been up to about 300,000 or so since then.
