The Pac-12 Thread....

July 6, 2012 4:11 pm
What evidence do you have that proves USC would not have curb stomped either team? Since football Championships on the National level are decided by popularity contest and not football games, how could you establish that one opinion is more valid than the other?

I can't predict an outcome on that game but I also can't think of a single team that progressed as far as USC did from beginning to ent.

Believe Bama and LSU are not banging on the door for a H & H with the Trojans. If they were, USC would schedule those games in a heartbeat. (As would many other teams in the country)

There is a huge portion of college football fans that wonder why the SEC as a whole does not travel as much as most other football coferences. USC is one that does not have a problem traveling.

If USC were in the SEC, they would be the same dominant force they are in the PAC 12. Frankly, I think you already know this, along with millions of other CFB fans.

ED...that one should read "a dominant force" IMO.

There are lots of threads where you can go and bang your chest and chant the greatness of your SEC teams, this isn't one of "those" threads. Nor, does this thread entertain itself with bashing other conferences and their members.

True....most of us know how deep D1 is as a rule.

The opinion that USC could beat LSU or Bama at the end of last season is not a slight to those schools on this thread, it is a compliment to USC who many of us believe to be the gold standard of College Football.

On a continual basis and not in brief glimpses USC is one of the premier programs in college football history and will be back as one rite quick...like this year in fact.

As to having to see a Dr., no worries, at any PAC 12 event there is an inordinate amount of them present to see their schools compete.

Now, don't blow my fifty spot (Mich & 7) on tee times and beer this summer!

Now we need to move on to college sports where there is no debate.

Is there a conference that dwarfs every other conference in national titles for all sports? Does any conference have schools that measure national titles in 3 digits....like ove 100?  Innocent
